Summary: Yolanda gives us an update on the latest activities of the San Miguel County Family and Community Health Council. We then discuss the BA to MD program at UNM, including admissions requirements, scholarship information, and various components of the program. We also talk about Pavan's 4 weeks in Las Vegas, NM (July 2009) where he is shadowing local physician Dr. David Elliot as part of his UNM program requirements. Local students are encouraged to apply to this scholarship-funded program.
